Toulouse, capital of Occitania welcomes you to its setting of pink bricks, shaped by 2,000 years of history. You will visit its monuments, churches and museums, and stroll through the maze of its ancient medieval streets. The sun, the sense of celebration, the sweetness of life mix there, to make it the city where many French people dream of coming to settle.
Majestically posed like a crown crown on a hill in the middle of the vines, you will discover it from afar, as in a dream. With its 3 kilometers of ramparts and its 52 towers, the upper town of Carcassonne, posted on the right bank of the Aude, is the largest fortified city in Europe!
The Aude is vineyards, the Canal du Midi, the Pyrenees in the distance and the Cathar hills with their castles in the foreground, and many other marvels to discover. Ideally placed between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees, this beautiful region welcomes you in holiday cottages or guest rooms carefully selected for you!
Almost 250 thousand hectares of vines, a long and turbulent history since the Greeks, a very different geography and climate, many grape varieties and magnificent and very varied landscapes: The ideal playground for wine tourism!
The vine is the first component of the Aude landscape. It is an integral part of its heritage and has also been the main economic resource since the 17th century. The Aude today produces wines of remarkable diversity thanks to its terroir located between the sea and the mountains.
This wine-growing region draws its originality from the grape varieties that make the AOC Malepère a unique wine, as well as from the dual Mediterranean and Oceanic influence. It is on the exceptional terroir that the Domaine Le Fort is located , which hosts our tasting workshops .
